Humankind Presents Film Series at Vogue

The West Shore Community College Humankind series is pleased to announce a mini film series during the month of April at the Vogue Theatre in Manistee in connection with its theme of the year, “The Future of Work.” Below is the list of films with showing dates and times:
Tommy Boy (1995 comedy): Wednesday, Apr. 5 10:00, 7:00 p.m.
Up in the Air (2009 romantic comedy-drama): Tuesday, Apr. 11 7:00 p.m.
The Big Short (2015 biographical comedy-drama): Tuesday, Apr. 18 7:00 p.m.
Cabin in the Woods (2011 science fiction comedy-horror): Friday, Apr. 28 7:00 p.m.
All films are free and open to everyone. Each film includes a free pop and popcorn for each attendee.
“We are excited for our continued collaboration with the WSCC humankind series this Spring,” said Kelsey Rhodes, general manager of operations at the Vogue Theatre. “The future of work is such a timely topic for our society, and we welcome the community to the theatre for a variety of films that speak to this theme and the possibilities for what the future of work might look like. Film provides a unique opportunity to envision, contemplate and reflect, and we look forward to the conversations that will be sparked by the magic of cinema.”
