Early Middle College
Earn College Credit While Completing High School
Beginning in the 11th grade, MGLVA+WSCC EMC students continue their high school coursework at Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy with the opportunity to simultaneously enroll in courses at West Shore Community College. This program affords students the ability to earn college credits while still in high school through enrollment in college-level coursework. Students will learn in a college environment that fosters maturity and academic growth, gaining vital knowledge and skills for career and college success

Application Information
Students will apply in January of their sophomore year. The application for Fall 2026 will open January 8, 2026 and is due by March 19, 2026.
