College Offices to Close for Holidays

While most areas of West Shore Community College will be closed Dec. 21 through Jan. 1, 2019, the campus recreational facilities will be open during the holiday break.

The Recreation and Wellness Centers will be closed on Dec. 21, 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1.  Extended hours will be offered throughout the holiday week. For information on hours, call the Recreation Center at 843-5543.

The West Shore Community Ice Arena will be open from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Dec. 24 and 31, remain closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, and will reopen for the balance of the holiday week with extended hours. Due to a scheduled power outage, the ice arena will be closed on Dec. 21. For public skate and drop in hockey schedules, call the arena at 843-9712.

The Bookstore, in the Schoenherr Campus Center, will be closed for the holiday on Dec. 21.

Online registration for winter semester classes, which begin on Mon., Jan. 14, will be available to current students. New students are advised to contact the Student Services office in the Schoenherr Campus Center before the holiday break or after Jan. 2.
