Overview: The Tutoring Center is an integral part of the broad range of student success services offered to West Shore students. We are available to help students learn about college and community resources, assist in locating materials, places, and people on campus, and offer support, encouragement, and positive reinforcement. The Tutoring Center provides tutoring, study skills assistance, academic and personal counseling as well as many other services designed to meet the unique needs of each student seeking our help.
Tutoring: Free tutoring –both individual and group—is available for eligible students through 1-1 tutoring and small groups. Students requesting these services must fill out an application at the Tutoring Center. Feel free to either drop-in to the Center or contact us via email or phone for an appointment.
The Tutoring Center also offers Accounting Help Labs to assist students who need occasional or intermittent help. Staffed by either adjunct faculty or professional tutors, the hours and location of these workshops vary each semester. Current information is available at our website, in the Tutoring Center and Student Services, as well as from English and Math faculty.
