WSCC COVID-19 Response Fall 2022
WSCC is returning to near-normal operations for the Fall 2022 term. As has been our practice throughout the pandemic, we will continue to monitor local, state and national guidance and keep you informed of any and all changes that may impact the campus experience.
Need to Know
Masks
Masks are optional in all areas on campus.
Face coverings may still be required in limited areas where external entities or industry standards require them (health programs).
Individual Reporting
Reporting of positive cases/illness is NOT required.
Students are still expected to notify faculty if they will be out due to illness.
Expected Personal Responsibility
If you are sick, stay home.
Follow appropriate COVID-19 protocols.
Isolate in the event of a positive COVID-19 test.
Notify individuals that may have been exposed.
Mask if you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
Capacity
Classrooms and labs are at 100% capacity.
Health & Hygiene
All individuals should continue to practice healthy hygiene habits to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

*If a mask cannot be worn, individual should home quarantine for 10 days.
**Activities with immunocompromised or other high-risk individuals, social/recreational activities in congregate settings.

- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the restroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
- Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Please note, that WSCC has alcohol-based sanitizer dispensers located throughout our buildings.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- If you are sick, please stay home and avoid contact with others. If you need to stay home sick, please contact your professors and let them know if possible.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or upper sleeve when coughing or sneezing.
