Business and Community Education 2018 Winter Season

Online enrollment for West Shore Community College’s Business & Community Education (BCE) winter/spring 2018 season will open on Jan. 29, and is available to anyone interested in a variety of non-credit classes, events and workshops.
This season, classes are categorized in Business, Community, “Fun for All,” and “Keepin’ It Fresh.”
“Community education is a place you can take up a new hobby and get up to speed with technology and much more. You will find learning opportunities designed the way you like them, relaxed and fun – no tests, no grades and no credits,” says Crystal Young director of the BCE program.
The “Business” classes include the popular basic grant writing class and Excel for and Word for beginners. Both are great refresher courses even for those with some computing experience.
Under the “Community” category the favored American Sign Language course is an opportunity to spend an hour over several Mondays learning a new language.
Offered over three Saturdays, “Fun for All” features several family adventures focusing on painting, science, and yoga activities designed for the family to do together.
“Keepin’ It Fresh” has several delicious cuisine exploration options. If you aren’t sure what to do for Valentine’s Day, Chef Jared will offer a cooking class to create a three-course dinner.
