Payment Plan Information

Administered by Advanced Education Services, the Payment Plan is an excellent option for financing your education.  Since this services is conducted by a third-party system, there are some automatic and other possible fees you should be aware of before agreeing to the payment plan terms.  The only absolute, non-refundable fee is the application fee (which is added to the first payment).  The payment plan does not charge interest or any other fees unless you do not fulfll the requirements of the agreement (missing a payment deadline, unsufficient funds, etc.).  Please see fee information below 

 

Fees Information:

$30 non-refundable application fee.
$30 service charge for payments returned for non-sufficient funds.
$20 late fee charge for each payment not received by the due date.
30% collection fee if account is turned over to a collection agency for non-payment.

As a student choosing to utilize the Payment Plan option please understand the following terms of agreement:

  • The payment plan is ONLY canceled if you (the student) drop your classes within the colleges stated 100% refund period.  If you withdraw from classes or stop attending classes at any point after the 100% refund period, you are still responsible for repayment of the payment plan and related fees..

  • If you have applied for financial aid and aid is denied to you, you are responsible for repayment of payment plan and related fees.

  • If your payment plan becomes delinquent you will be unable to register for classes, access grades online or request transcripts until your payment plan is paid in full. Also, you will no longer be eligible for any future payment plans.

  • If your mailing address or e-mail address changes you must notify the WSCC Business Office at businessoffice@westshore.edu or (231) 843-5887.

  • If you agree to all of the above stated terms and conditions of the payplan plan available through AES and West Shore Community College please begin your application process at my.westshore.edu. After logging in, click on the Student tab at the top of the screen and then MYAccount in the left navigation and click the link to start the application process for the payment plan.
