What is a Learning Community?

Two courses from different areas taken together in order to show a connection between them.

Two courses taught by Professors from different areas–with shared assignments that count toward credit in both classes.

Two courses in which students and professors form a community of learners, working together to ask questions and discover answers.

“I think that the way this course was taught (learning community) was extremely helpful.  I enjoyed this class, it was the best English course I’ve ever had.”
