WSCC Humankind presents The Life and Story of Sir Walter Ralegh, an interview with Dr. Alan Gallay.

Learn about the founding of Ireland, England’s “Lost Colony” of Roanoke, as well as the search for El Dorado, the legendary city of gold.  It’s required viewing for anyone interested in the history of the British Empire and its early colonization efforts.

Gallay is an award-winning historian who serves as the Lyndon B. Johnson Chair in American History at Texas Christian University whose most recent work is Walter Ralegh: Architect of Empire.
