John Wolff has served as Prof. of Humanities at West Shore since 1997.  He teaches a wide variety of writing and literature courses; an experimental course in intrapersonal communications called Mindful Living (HUM 108), and a new course called Contemporary World Issues (ENG 258).  His current research and teaching interests center around the intersection of digital literacy and the humanities.  His book The Driftwood Shrine: Discovering Zen in American Poetry, was published by Sumeru Books (Toronto) in 2016.
