Curt Isakson began his teaching at West Shore Community College as a Beginning Guitar Instructor in the winter of 2013.  He begins teaching Music Technology and Advanced Guitar in the fall of 2013.

Curt Isakson is the Director of Bands in Shelby, Michigan since 2001.  He attended Muskegon Community College and Grand Valley State University where he earned a BME.  Curt also has a MS in Educational Media Design & Technology from Full Sail University.  Curt teaches 6-12th grade band, and his ensembles include a Beginning Band, Cadet Band, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band.  All bands have active performance schedules and receive consistently high ratings at Festivals.  His bands perform in the community and have traveled to Washington D.C., New York City, and is planning a trip to Disney World in 2014.

Curt lives in Whitehall, Michigan, and his wife of 37 years is the City Clerk of Wyoming, Michigan.  He has two married daughters and four grand children.
