Credited Courses

Earn credit while you improve health and fitness.

During the fall and spring semesters, students may enroll in Aerobic Conditioning & Weight Training (PED 100) and receive one credit. 

The class consists of a four-month program in the Wellness Center and is designed to improve total fitness. Students will be responsible for scheduling a 2.5 hour group orientation session with a Recreation Center staff member.  The orientation includes health and fitness assessments, a demonstration on the exercise equipment and development of an individualized exercise program. 

Following the orientation, students will meet course requirements through an open schedule.  The class may be elected two times for a total of two credits.
