 No Cancellations have been posted at this time. Welcome to the announcement and cancellation page, where you will find up-to-the-minute class and event cancellation or closing information. You may also wish to explore the links in the left column which provide the latest weather report and the inclement weather policy. If a class is cancelled or foul weather closes the College, a link titled “Urgent Announcements & Class Cancellations” will appear under the “Announcement” header on the homepage. Click on the link and it will take you to cancellation or closing information. Closing information is also available by calling the Campus Operator Information Line (231)845-6211. A list of local radio and television stations broadcasting closing information can be found on the Inclement Weather Policy. On days when the weather is inclement and the college is open, the decision to drive to the campus is at the student’s discretion. Travel decisions must be the responsibility of each student after assessing the road conditions in their respective areas, the condition of their vehicle and their driving skills. If a student chooses not to come, students should inform their instructor and ask what they can do to make up any missed work. |
