Dr. Kenneth Urban

The West Shore Community College Board of Trustees voted on Thurs., April 23, to authorize Chairman of the Board James Jensen to negotiate a contract with Dr. Kenneth Urban to serve as the fourth president of the College.

The selection is contingent upon the Board approving a contract after a site visit to Nicolet Technical College and the Rhinelander, WI, community in the next several weeks. It is expected the Board will consider the contract at its next monthly meeting on May 18.

Kenneth Urban, Ed.D. currently serves as the Interim President of Nicolet College in Rhinelander. Previously, he served as Vice President of Teaching, Learning and Student Success at Nicolet College in Rhinelander.

Dr. Urban earned a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in North Miami Beach, FL, a Master of Business Administration from Ohio State University in Athens, OH, a Master of Arts in Developmental Psychology from the University of Toledo in Toledo, OH and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH.
