Registration is underway for children’s swimming lessons to be held at West Shore Community College’s Recreation Center.
The lessons will be offered in two sessions. The first session is from Mon., June 16 through Tues., June 24, the second from Wed., June 25 through Thurs., July 3.
Children will be placed in the appropriate class according to their skill level – with the placements to be done by the program director and the Red Cross Water Safety Instructor.
The program will use the seven-level Red Cross learn-to-swim method that progresses from level one, water exploration, to level seven, advanced skills.
Lessons are for 50 minutes each day.
Cost is $40 per student and payment is due at the time of registration.
Persons wishing to register children for the classes, or needing further information, should call Josh Pyles, Recreation Center Assistant Manager, at 843-5909.
